Blue Tick Coonhound

A large muscular breed believed to be crossed between an English Foxhound and the French Bleu Gascogne. They have a instinct for tracking.

Their short glossy coats require minimal grooming. (Except when they have been out and about)

A loyal and highly intelligent breed but need plenty of space or they will find their way out to escape.

They will greet you with a bark and a good sniff round but they are wary of strangers.

Early socialization will ensure that they are good with children and other pets in the home.

They like to mark their territory and this makes house training somewhat of a task. General training however takes time but has a rewarding result.

Plenty of exercise required. They love to track but also enjoy lazing about.

A large home is required and good outside fencing is essential.

Aussiedoodle

Class– Designer Breed

A cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle

An average sized dog that will come with varied coat types.

They love to be part of the family and with people. Very intelligent and friendly.

Aussie doodles love to play and will excel in agility, good therapy dogs but they also like to laze about (they make good foot-warmers).

They love children of all ages and other pets.

Aussie doodles would make a super family pet.

Aussie doodles need to be socialized at an early age and will learn very rapidly making them easy to train.

Firmness and rewards being the best way. They do not respond to harsh methods or raised voices. They are always looking for a challenge.

We suggest advice from the breeder in respect of grooming and cutting.

Aussie doodles need to be stimulated and love to be on the go with plenty of exercise and play.

Ca de Bou

Class – Rare Breed

A rare breed from Spain.

They are a muscular dog and their fur is short, feeling quite rough to the touch.

They are very intelligent and are devoted to its master. They are loyal and totally fearless.

Ca De Bou love children and enjoy a good playtime especially with other dogs.

We suggest liaison with the breeder re grooming.

They must be kept in their place and you should be able to show your authority and always be consistent. They learn very quickly.

They do need a fair amount of daily exercise so be prepared.

Chart Polski

A breed that originates from Poland.

They have smooth short hair.

Very protective to the family, but are cautious of others.

An occasional brush is usually all the grooming that is required.

This breed needs to be socialized at an early stage and requires firm but gentle training to bring out the best.

Plenty of daily exercise is required.

Central Asian Shepherd

A breed with origins from Central Asia that presents with long or short coats.

They are a very strong dog and are quite fearless.

Although they like to be dominant they are wary of strangers but are good with children.

They should be supervised when children are present.

On the downside, they do enjoy a good barking session at night. They will chew as well if they are bored.

Not too much by way of grooming but they will shed heavily in the spring.

Training is always ongoing and they need to know their place.

They love the outdoors and good fencing is recommended.

Plenty of exercise will help you keep fit as well.
